National Hunt jockey, Ian Popham, and his father, Phil, are worried for the future today after viewing the devastation the flood waters on the Somerset Levels has wrought on their farm. Phil was born on the farm 49 years ago and took over the running of it from his father but in all those years, he has never known floods like these. Neighbours helped Phil and son Ian to take their 150 cattle to safety just hours before the farm's barns were flooded, but they have been unable to prevent the damage caused to buildings, equipment or supplies caught in the flood water.
