I was lucky enough to work with Martin Hesp on a feature for the Western Morning News recently. We visited Allerford Forge near Porlock in Somerset to meet the group of young blacksmiths who are now running the smithy. I was glad to see it back as a working forge again and if you're ever in the Allerford area, I recommend popping in to meet the guys and take a look around their shop.
