The Hinkley Point anti-nuclear protest rally in October 2012 was two days of concerted action by protestors to speak out against the construction of new reactors at the site. The rally was held in Bridgwater, and then the following day the protestors scaled the fence at Hinkley itself, despite the best efforts of police and G4 security guards to stop them. The photo of a little girl wearing a gas mask was chosen as the front page lead for the story by the Western Morning News.
