One of the main advantages the Stop the Cull group have this year is some new high tech equipment. The Pulsar HT 38s thermal imaging scopes, 16 of which are being used in the field, allow hunt sabs to be able to spot vehicles, people and badgers from up to 1.5km away. On the first night of the cull in Somerset, Jay Tiernan, a spokesman for Stop the Cull, used the scope to survey the cull zone.
